Overview of Transferring Files Using IP Addresses with UTF-8 Encoding

Each system connected to a router or switch gets an IP address, either from an administrator (static IP) or by default (DHCP). This IP address identifies a system on a network. Thus, you can request or send information to another device using this IP address.

There are typically two ways to transfer files over a network.

Via a mapped drive - As you know, this type of IP connection creates a mapped drive on a shared computer, allowing you to edit, delete, and add files over the network. Via a network cable/wire - Alternatively, you can connect two computers using an appropriate cable as well.

Both allow information to be transmitted from one computer to another, but the setup and configuration are too complex and time-consuming for most users.

So, let's look for a much simpler, smarter, and all-inclusive way to transfer files between two different operating systems, two computers, a computer and a laptop, or even multiple laptops. Here, we recommend a free and fast file transfer software.
