Wiping a partition can delete all the data on the partition and make sure that any data recovery solution cannot retrieve the data. This feature prevents others from recovering the data you have deleted. You can do this with the “Wipe Partition” function of Partition Master.

The "Wipe Partition" feature provided by Partition Master can permanently delete all data in a partition. It overwrites existing data with new information, thoroughly erasing all information on the partition. Once the wiping operation is executed, no data recovery software can retrieve the data.

How to Wipe a Partition

This operation cannot be undone. You cannot clear the boot and system partitions.

We have two options for clearing your data. Please choose the one you need.

Option 1: Erase the partition

  • Right-click the partition you want to wipe and select "Wipe."
  • In the new window, set the time you want to spend wiping the partition, then click "OK."
  • Click the "Execute 1 Task" button in the bottom-right corner to review your changes, then click "Apply."

Option 2: Erase the disk

Select HDD/SSD, then right-click on it and choose "Erase Disk". Set the number of times you want to overwrite the data (up to 10 times). Click "OK". Click "Perform 1 Task" and then click "Apply".
