The presence of the “raw” character makes the disk copy/cloning process a little different.
A disk-imaging utility that supports raw mode works like this:
It copies all sectors of the hard drive, including the MBR/GPT partition table, boot records, all partitions, and free space. Use a RAW cloning tool only when you want an exact duplicate of a hard drive.
Supports comprehensive electronic evidence discovery on specific hard drives, including copying all contents, even hidden data areas that cannot be seen on the computer.
Create an image of the damaged hard drive and perform the recovery on that image. Tools for disk imaging skip bad sectors while copying, so using a regular disk-imaging software can save you a lot of time waiting for bad sectors to copy.
It backs up the contents of the disk, its file system, partitioning, and free space to a new drive for future use.
Of course, it also works as a common RAW copy tool to meet the basic need of replacing an old hard drive with a new one without data loss or system reinstallation. It's truly a simple, powerful, dedicated, and user-friendly disk cloning software. Anyone can handle disk cloning tasks easily!
